Studio G3 has been very popular in producing intricate and bold designs using the sand carving technique. It reveals the artist’s mastery of detail and presents a broad spectrum of colors and tones. It is exceptionally stunning when positioned against a source of light. Sand carving involves the application of compressed air mixed with sand to the surface of glass to create beautiful textures. Etching is done deeper and in layers resulting a lovely matte, multi-dimensional effect. Our glass artists can also sandblast tempered glass by carefully carving up to a certain depth without breaking.

Kiln-Formed (Slumped Textures)
Kiln-formed glass, commonly referred as slumped glass, appeals particularly to one's sense of touch. Studio G3 has wide variety of textures - from aggressive wave-like patterns to subtle linen-like designs. Slumped glass is achieved by heating the glass in a kiln to a temperature high enough to become soft and cause it to slump into or over a mold. The finished Slumped panel assumes the shape of the mold and the entire glass' appearance becomes obscure. The artists meticulously craft the patterns and designs on the mold while visualizing the glass' finished appearance. Ceramic fiber overlays are also used to create unique designs by placing them randomly on the mold.
Faux Marble Collection
Just like a fingerprint, each hand painted Faux Marble piece is one of a kind. There are 24 Standard Faux Marble Colors; perfectly combined to create a stunning edge. A standard faux marble glass piece can come in two different textures - NK38M; a subtle organic texture, and NK42; a more aggressive texture.
Colored Glass
Add flair to clear glass with our colored glass selections. Our colored glass panels are kiln-formed glass that are usually coated at the back side of the texture using one solid color, and can come in opaque, transparent, or metallic tones. These are commonly used as wall panels, decorative cabinet inserts, backsplashes, and many more. Custom colors can be formulated upon request (Pantone code, color swatch or material samples can be provided as reference).
