Studio G3 has been very popular in producing intricate and bold designs using the sand carving technique. It reveals the artist’s mastery of detail and presents a broad spectrum of colors and tones. It is exceptionally stunning when positioned against a source of light. Sand carving involves the application of compressed air mixed with sand to the surface of glass to create beautiful textures. Etching is done deeper and in layers resulting a lovely matte, multi-dimensional effect. Our glass artists can also sandblast tempered glass by carefully carving up to a certain depth without breaking.
